Collection: Threads Of War

War is a fact of life.

Every society that exists, has ever existed, or will ever exist, has to make inevitable choice to successfully engage in, or be conquered by, war. These United States of America has proven itself worthy time and time again, remaining intact through every trial in this arena. As a veteran, I have done my part over two deployments and five years in the U.S. Navy. Seeing the toll it can take on those who participate in war first hand, makes me both respect and fear this necessary act. 

This patch series is not meant to glorify war, far from it. These patches are meant to show respect those who have served and continue to serve, both at home and abroad. From the most violent frontlines overseas to the back alleys here on the American homefront. The sacrifices made, both physical and mental, cannot be overstated.

To those who currently carry this burden, and too those who have been relieved of their watch, this patch series is meant to be a small token of appreciation to what it is that you do. You're the best in history to have done it and will continue to prove it in the decades to come. If you have been both fortunate, and unfortunate, enough to have not been saddled with the burden of war. You should still wear these patches proudly. Showing your support of these magnificent people that have come before you and gotten the job done for your freedom.
